This is the award-winning treat that started Little Apple Treats and my love of candy making! This caramel is my original recipe with toasted almonds, the perfect amount of cinnamon (just a touch!) and lots of vanilla. It was so delicious that it sparked the making of the rest of our caramel flavors. The perfect buttery, sweet caramel made with apple cider from our fresh-pressed apples.

All our luxurious caramels start as freshly-pressed cider, made from the heirloom apples we grow on our Sonoma County organic farm. We slow-cook our candies to buttery perfection using local butter and cream, toasted California almonds + freshly ground spices. We dust every caramel with our Pink Pearl apple powder and vanilla bean sea salt to create both a delicious and beautiful treat!

Our Orchard
We grow a variety of apples: Pink Pearl, Red Rome Beauty, Yellow Bellflower, Gravenstein, and Golden Delicious, just to name a few! Sustainability is key, so our trees are rain irrigated and all of our apple pomace and waste is spread out to fertilize our trees. Peel to pip, our process is a closed loop.
